T\u003c\/span\u003ehe slabs of clay are then manipulated into 3 dimensional forms, often with the help of the potters wheel. Each piece is hand-thrown or slab-built (or a combination of both) by Denise McDonald, whose background in landscape architecture and formal ceramic training informs a practical, design-minded approach.\u003cbr\u003eThe work is highly functional but also very decorative.
