They start as small ‘en plein air' works, then become large studio-completed paintings. I am motivated by the changing weather patterns effecting the area around Mulgoa, on the outskirts of Sydney. After five years of drought and annual fires, the rains came. And it rained for three years! I painted the flowing water and floods that occurred in my backyard, as well as observing the famous falls in the Blue Mountains.

Shirley Peters

PLEASE NOTE

Once an item has been selected and a transaction has taken place, Nationwide Curating staff will contact the buyer to arrange for postage, collection or personal delivery.

A 'Certificate of Authenticity' and artist statement will accompany all sold artworks.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0553/4603/6890/files/GalleryNWC_ShirleyPeters_SoftEdges_GuidingtheFall__100x76cm_OilonCanvas__3200copy.jpg?v=1792902616
