BLUE MOUNTAINS PRINT PRIZE 2025 - JUDGE IN THE SPOTLIGHT!
Damon Kowarsky will be joining the judging panel for the 4th iteration of the Blue Mountains Print Prize, 2025. We are delighted to have Damon join the panel, as he has been involved in the Prize for numerous years as an entrant. Damon was the first prize winner for the Blue Mountains Print Prize 2021 and 2023.
ABOUT DAMON KOWARSKY:
Damon Kowarsky studied printmaking at Victorian College of the Arts and Glasgow School of Art. Since graduating he has travelled extensively. Architecture and the colours of earth and sky inspire much of his work.
In November 2022 Kowarsky returned from a six-week residency in Jeddah supported by the Saudi Ministry of Culture. Across 2023 and 2024 he undertook residencies and projects in China, Guernsey, Serbia, Tunisia and Slovakia. He is currently working on etchings and drawings exploring interactions between the natural and man-made worlds.
