My ceramic works delve into the profound interplay between plant adaptations and fire ecology, with a strong focus on the importance of cultural burning and its benefits for ecosystem resilience and biodiversity. By highlighting native flora that have evolved resilience to fire, I explore the remarkable pyrophytic strategies that have shaped these species. Through my art, I aim to illuminate the extraordinary evolutionary journey of the plant world and its potential future adaptations.
