“I am attracted to the vastness of the ocean, the details on the shore such as sand, rocks and tides, and the mountains where the drenching rain waters start their journey to the coast. This is a beautiful cycle as old as the earth itself.
My maternal ancestors are from the Dharug area. They lived on the Hawkesbury River, near where I live at Mulgoa. I am sharing their waterways. I can feel/imagine their joy when it rains, and that cycle continues.” Shirley Peters.
