Martin has been a resident of the Shoalhaven region since 1998. Born in Sydney, NSW, he has always been interested in drawing and took interest in his mother's painting process. He previously worked as a Harley Davidson Technician and Merchant Seafarer, spending much of the year at sea. Martin still has a keen interest in restoring vintage motorcycles and is also a musician, playing drums with various performers and bands. He has travelled the world many times over and uses his overseas experience to influence his artwork.
