INTRODUCING NEGIN CHAHOUD
It is a pleasure to introduce you to the lovely Negin Chahoud. We are excited and honoured to be working with Negin and bringing her art to a new audience in Pyrmont Sydney, NSW Australia.
CULTURAL SIGNIFICANCE
Negin has requested "...in light of the Persian New Year, any sold items will receive a small gift" as a thank you directly from the artist. Persian new year is referred to as 'Nowruz' which literally means "New Day" and welcomes the arrival of spring around the 21 March.
Another interesting note "Haft-Sin" or "Haft-Seen" is the tradition of combining 7 Symbolic objects together with all names sharing 'S' as the first letter. These items are placed together on a mantle or table.

In consultation with Negin, Nationwide Curating will have a second table set up in honour of Haft-Sin and the 7 's' of Iranian New Year during Negin's "Meet the Artist' event.
