ABOUT KAZ BURTON
After returning to Queensland, Karen Burton (Kaz) establishes her artwork inspired by the untamed landscapes inspire her semi-abstract paintings, which explore recognizable organic forms while evoking a profound sense of the universe's vastness and wild beauty.
“I am amazed by the enchanting dance of colours, unfolding in unexpected ways. I love to explore layers of interest and intricacy. There is a profound satisfaction in dismantling and reconstructing elements into something wholly original creating a harmonious fusion of beauty and imagination. Nature is the greatest inspiration, from the vibrant hues of a blooming flower discovered during a morning stroll to the graceful silhouettes of trees adorning the landscape near my tropical home."
