“I first approached Katherine as a very new artist wanting to showcase my work. From the beginning Katherine was enthusiastic and encouraging of my art and my desire to have an exhibition. Through mentor sessions with Katherine, I developed my craft and concepts further than I could have imagined. Katherine carefully and thoughtfully guided me and introduced me to new ideas and ways of thinking. She encouraged me to look at the world through our daily experiences, and the things we use that we take for granted. She taught me to understand that it is all art. Because of Katherine’s support, I was able to exhibit my artwork at Gallery NWC Katoomba and have a successful debut as an emerging artist with work I am incredibly proud of.
