Corners: A solo exhibition by Hannah Hausmann at Gallery NWC - 188 Katoomba Street, Katoomba.
Join us today from 5-7pm to celebrate the opening of this wonderful exhibition by a local artist. Everyone is very welcome, and drinks and snacks will be provided.
Hannah Hausmann paints unique still lifes to portray small portions of mostly her own home. Fragments of time and space within which there are colours that catch her eye, a composition that looks inviting and, most importantly, seems fun to paint.
Colour and shape are everything. Mixing colour is how you capture light in a moment and transfer it to canvas. Shape is how you measure and place that colour to get a real image. Colour and shape are how you can show what light does to the little corners of your home.
This exhibition will continue to February 22nd.
