ARTIST BIO
Nell draws using an IPad then makes prints on archival 100% rag papers to ensure their longevity. For this exhibition the images are based on sketches and from memory of walking the local bush trails that criss cross Katoomba and into the national park. To the edge, along the escarpment, into the valleys.
Nell is a graduate of the National Art School/ Alexander Mackie CAE, and operated a graphic design studio for over 20 years before moving to Katoomba.
She recently exhibited at the Shop Gallery Glebe in 2021, 2022 and 2024. She was a finalist in the Waverley Art Prize 2020, and included in the Blue Mountains Portrait Prize 2021.
