ARTIST STATEMENT ABOUT THE EXHIBITION
'Sunsets & Silhouettes' is an exploration of memory through the contrast of light and dark. Memories fade like sunsets. By immersing the viewer in colour, I hope to evoke feelings of nostalgia, a sense of place and time spent.

Shanon Bradburn is a Sydney-based artist exploring everyday moments. From children picking flowers, to the way the sun sets after a long day. Shanon observes fleeting moments and notes the inherent genuine nature of what is usually deemed ordinary. Capturing the finite has become a life pursuit of transformation to 'extraordinary.'
