BUSINESS CARD WORKSHOP

This workshop encourages business owners to re-connect with their own brand and have fun, get messy and interact with other business owners in the process.

This workshop is designed to encourage small business owners, in the creative industry or otherwise, to invest their time and creative energy toward making hand-made, limited edition prints of business cards for their clients.

Workshop facilitators, in consultation with the attendee list, design individualized business cards and expose multiple cards onto photopolymer etching plates prior to the workshop. Workshop attendees can therefore focus on hand inking, wiping and printing their own business card editions—using a press. In this way, participants apply a range of skills, learned throughout the various workshop demonstrations, such as intaglio and relief printmaking methods, al la poupee ink application and chine colle (collage using pressure).

Participants leave this workshop with hand-made business cards from each of the other participants, at least 30 cards each, and hopefully, lasting business and personal relationships.
