ARTIST BIO
My ceramic pieces, both two and three dimensional have developed from drawing
and printmaking. I have been exhibiting consistently since 2006, with a strong history
of working with independent spaces.
My recent work has been responding to observations of daily life.
My work is also a progression of ideas of dislocation, and displacement, and how
personal objects and images can be highly emotive.
In 2024 I have exhibited in group shows including a 3 person show at Scratch Art
Space. I have recently finished a residency Burnt Dirt at Clay Wollongong and will
participate in Sydney Ceramics Market ; October.
Tattoos are a story told on the body, about people, places, and aspirations we hold
close. They are used to signify who you are in the world. I have created a series of
people in clay who explore these themes on their bodies. The tattoos are
represented with sgraffito, a drawing technique used on clay
