ABOUT THE ARTIST
Kristy Lyn-Osseweyer is an Australian artist, firefighter and community arts mentor for women dealing with trauma through creative expression. Kristy's work often depicts the Australian landscape, flora and fauna and the impact of catastrophic events such as bushfires. Directly inspired by the land and living on country on her farm in the south coast of Australia, Kristy draws from the diversity of plant and animal life and reflects on works by well-known artists Brett Whitely and Arthur Boyd.
