Sun and Shadow

Camilla Dickerson is an artist born into the art world. The youngest daughter of Artist Robert Dickerson. 

Early exposure to the best of Australian Art formed a lifelong love of interpreting people and landscapes, highlighted by Sun and Shadow.

Camilla moved to the Blue Mountains five years ago and has not looked back.

Bush walks and sketching, coming home to a small studio at the edge of a hanging swamp, with wallabies and birds galore.

Luminescent pastels on rough textured paper and solemn charcoals gives inspiration. Imbued by incredible natural surrounds and numerous tourists flocking to the area. 

Everyday incorporating and pairing down art practice to a few strong lines, highlighted and defined by shadows.
