ARTIST STATEMENT

Karin's ceramics are hand built with a spirit of freedom and experimentation—functional forms that balance nostalgia, texture, and fun. Her signature pieces, from cups to vases, carry what she describes as a distinctive “junkyard feel,” where every surface tells a story through layers of oxides, slips, and underglazes.
