ARTIST STATEMENT - OLD MILK CHURN SERIES

My fascination with outback Aussie farms began many years ago when I first landed in Australia, a huge difference to the cold grey of London's streets. My husband and I bought a few acres, had a milking cow, chooks, veggie patch and some old rusty sheds.

The passing years took its toll on the sheds, the old milk churns and other equipment, rusted, flaking yet leaving behind such a beautiful patina of reds, golds, blues... I was enchanted and the artist in me took over. I paint my memories and now share with you.
