Mizu
Pon Pon
The Mizu earrings take their name from the Japanese word for water, as seen in the fluid, free-flowing shapes etched and painted onto the maple.
These bold, fluid forms, combined with a graphic arched silhouette, make the perfect statement earring while still being feather-light and kind to your ears.
Available in two variations. Choose from Mizu or Mizu Drop, finished with a small hand-painted blue dangle.
Designed and laser-cut from sustainably sourced maple, each pair is individually hand-painted and varnished in our Blue Mountains studio.
Materials
Made from laser-cut varnished Maple, these original designs are feather-light and ready to turn heads. Each pair features a surgical-quality stainless steel stud backing.
Minor variations in the wood’s surface are natural characteristics of the material.
Measurements
Mizu: 2.8cm width x 5cm length.
Mizu Drop (blue dangle): 2.8cm width x 5.8cm length.
Comfortable to Wear
These are light as a feather:
Mizu: 2.1g per earring
Mizu Drop (blue dangle): 2.7 grams per earring.
You’ll forget you’re wearing them (until the compliments roll in!).
Colour
We have made every effort to ensure our photos accurately represent each design’s colours. However, actual shades may vary slightly due to individual device screen settings.
ARTIST BIO
'As a designer, I love nothing more than creating and making items of beauty that bring long-lasting joy. My inspiration is derived from Mid-century art, fashion, and design, as well as the beauty and form of the natural world. These spark my imagination and birth more ideas than I can keep up with! I design everything you see – the products, website, branding, photography, and packaging, the true definition of a Jill of all trades! This creative venture is the culmination of many years of trying my hand at many forms of making, and I’m beyond excited to be able to bring my abundance of ideas to life in my products. I hope you join the Pon Pon journey with me.' Lexi
