In my work, I use the Kurinuki technique as a meditative dialogue with raw earth. Abandoning the predictable symmetry of the wheel, I embrace the philosophy of Wabi-Sabi, finding profound beauty in the unrefined, the spontaneous, and the natural. Through subtraction—carving away piece by piece from a solid block of clay—I uncover the inner spirit and organic essence of each form, celebrating the quiet elegance of imperfection.
